Mental Health Film Festival June 6-27
The 2024 Mental Health Film festival took place on June 6th at the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Center in San Francisco.
This is an annual event that takes place at different venues around the country and features short films from experienced filmmakers. It is designed to to inspire, educate and transform mental health conversations.

Voices With Impact, the organization behind this event, began in 2018. Each year, Voices With Impact awards ten filmmaking teams $7.5k to make a short film on a specific underrepresented mental health topic.
The world premiere film screening showcased ten amazing films and included a panel discussion with the filmmakers that made them.

ACV Tech setup
ACV filmed the event in entirety which included: three cameras, lights and audio, a video switcher to switch each film when cued, presentation slides, using picture in picture, the event presenters including an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter, filmmaker’s panel discussion and audience questions.
The event was also live streamed to Youtube.
Each film debut had an educational message and the evening went without a hitch It was a very memorable night!
